I've heard great things about this restaurant for awhile now and been wanting to try. We finally had a chance to enjoy it today and we went all out trying the Pad See Ew, Jungle Papaya Salad, Lao sausages, Crispy fried rice, mango salad deep fried trout and the hot and sour soup! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious, the portions are super generous and service is very welcoming. I highly recommend this place for a culinary experience since it's hard to find this unique cuisine around. We can't wait to come back and delight our taste palettes again!

I just recently moved to the area and was craving some comfort food. As a Laotian-American, Lao food has not been easy to find growing up other than in the kitchen at home so I was excited to say a Lao restaurant in the area. After reviewing the extensive menu, we ordered the tom yum talay (seafood), pad see eww beef, nam khao (crispy rice salad), thum pa (Lao style papaya salad). All of the dishes we had were super authentic and flavorful! My favorite was the thum pa and tom yum talay. Both had a great mix of sweet, sour, spicy, and umami. Service was super quick and servers were nice. The ambiance inside was very intimate and felt like home. I would highly recommend giving this place a try, especially if you have never tried Lao food. You will not be disappointed.

Found this place on Yelp when looking for Thai food. This was a nice little mom & pop shop we found. Everything we ordered tasted great. We got the jungle papaya salad, crying tiger, crispy fried rice, catfish curry, seafood Tom yum, & a palm juice. There was 5 of us & everything came out to be about $136, each dish was about $15-$30, a bit pricey but it is a small business. Overall, I would recommend this place when you're in the mood for Lao/thai food.

They have a great selection of Laotian and Thai food combined here. The portion is great for family style, as they are bigger in serving dishes. Each dish is packed full of flavors, consistency and spices.

I have been wanting to dine in at this restaurant for AGES, every single SEA influencer home-cook or foodie has had MANY good things to say about this restaurant and how authentic it is. I am definitely planning on returning to try other Lao/Thai dishes! 5/5 - I absolutely LOVED the fried trout served with a side of green mango som tum. The fish was sooo crispy and crunchy, without any fishy after taste. It was an excellent pairing with the fresh som tum (which can be thought of as a relish salad). 4/5 - The beef jerky was thin and easy to chew. It was delicious with the jeow (dipping sauce). 3.5/5 - The Nam Khao was good, but not the best that I've had. I prefer when more individual grains of the crispy rice is more fried, the fermented pork bits to be more sour, and more aromatics. But it is still a very good dish overall. The service is friendly but the restaurant itself is rather small. I can see there being a wait if you try to dine it during a rush hour. The parking lot has a lot of space which is nice!

Prices keep going up. It's getting a little expensive, but I have Laos in me and love the food here. Other places don't make it as good. This place reminds me of my childhood. The service is nice and food is always pretty good. I will usually order in person and the food comes out quick! Nam Kao Tod is my favorite

Parking: Free parking. They're located in a busy plaza, but I noticed people are always going in and out. So parking can somewhat be easy to find. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with limited seating. We came in @17:30, and we just missed the dinner rush. It started getting busy closer to @18:00. You can either dine in or order take out. Service: Everyone was courteous, but special shout out to our server Ethan! He took great care of us. I will say we did wait a while for our orders. We waited approximately 35 minutes for our food. Food & drinks: They have a large menu filled with traditional Lao and Thai dishes. 1) Pho Lao - Lao original rice noodle soup with beef balls, sliced beef, green onion, cilantro, and bean sprouts. This was my first time trying Lao pho, and it did not disappoint! They only offer one size, and I'd consider it a large bowl. The broth was very delicious, generous amount of meat, and lots of noodles. I'd prefer less toppings of yellow onion, but I really enjoyed this dish. 4/5 2) Rad Na - Fried rice noodle, topped with beef gravy, made of Chinese vegetables and chicken. The chicken and Chinese broccoli were cooked well. Everything was drenched in the beef gravy. The beef gravy was too salty for me, but everything else was good. 3.5/5 3) Nam Kao Tod - Crispy fried rice. You can tell which pieces were fried on the outside and which were on the inside. The outside pieces of the rice were definitely crispy. Fair warning, you might get some pieces stuck to your teeth lol. I really enjoyed this basic rice dish. 4/5 4) Thai Tea - Really refreshing. You can see the layers of tea and creamer. I believe the ratio is 50% tea and 50% creamer. It wasn't too sweet, but I'd prefer the tea flavor would be stronger. 4/5 5) Green Thai Tea - This was also refreshing. The green tea flavor definitely came through. It wasn't too sweet either and perfect amount of creamer. 4/5 Pricing: Prices are $$$ which is basically the average price now. Our total came out to $68.19 (tip included). I'd say it's worth it. We enjoyed our dishes and service was great.
